Well all the girls are not going to make Capital, and some who do, do not have to take the offer. There are other options.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Given that most on the mddc team is a top performer, hey waive all their fees so they can stay together!
And then all those girls will bail for Capital, with extra money in their pockets and no remorse.

Wait, there are no standouts on that team? Just a bunch of interchangeable parts?
Correct

29 chat, take that somewhere else.
While yes a 29 chat, I do find it interesting that they are playing this “waiver” game at younger years. Guess they feel the model worked for 29s so rinse and repeat!

Not with M&D DC 29 but my daughter was offered a waiver to switch from her club to another club mid-season two years ago. When a club is desperate to fill a team for number or capability, the will waive their fees.

They built the 29 team by recruiting talent from other clubs. They will have to do the same for their younger teams because they aren't very good.
Their ‘34 team is really good.
They had better be, considering that so many players had their club fees waved to come play for M&D DC. That is one way to build a team.
So you get the club fees waive if they want you in the team? And it’s not need based?
Many did. Yes.
Guess MDDC is doing the same NL did. It’s 4k because you are subsidizing. Hopefully your kid will get playing time if you played full, but there’s no guarantee especially as they age.
FFS, the post said "a ton of girls". If anyone believes a club is foregoing a huge chunk of the reason they are business ($) for a 3rd grade team, then there are going to be a lot of phishing and Nigerian prince scams that land in that person's future.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:An anonymous poster on DCUM said they heard a rumor. Free spots are offered at every club if they have a player they really want. Come on.
