Highlights that so many factors play into deciding to play (even if one can from an ability perspective) and which schools girls/families decide to pick etc. The wave of outside expectation and pressure can feel very real to the girls and always a good reminder for all of us that it is each girl’s/family’s job to block out the noise and decide what is best for them and what they want from a college experience. For example, some may be DI capable, but want DIII to have a more well rounded college experience also. Others may want club or to play club in other sports also.
The social media post is great (and all these girls should be proud), but it is each girl that has to go to the school and actually do all the things! It depends on how that fits into their desired college experience, overall life goals and what career/major they may want to pursue. Sometimes that means deciding to put the stick down also.

I thought they would have gone immediately and to top notch schools. Fingers crossed for them. For anyone watching, they are a perfect example of how this process is difficult. If anyone should have gone quick it was them. Injured or not they deserve it.
