Other clubs are leveling up. The gap is getting closer. Those 5+ goal victories turn into 1 to 2 goal victories. Upsets will be more common.
PP wants reasons why other clubs have gotten better?
Maybe some clubs do that. Heroes, MDU & BLC picked up players that will make them better from non M&D clubs. Behind the cage suggests other NY teams did the same. M&D probably got better but the other teams improved at a higher rate. It’s math at that point. If M&D got 5% better and other teams 10% better, they are closing the gap. At this age, other clubs start more intense training on par with M&D and that closes the gap. There’s still a gap but by HS they may lose some games against clubs they used to beat.
So you don't know really who got what, and you're just spitballing. Then just say that.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Probably the reasons why you thinnk they've gotten better. No, 2 M&D field players plus a goalie from Renegades rather than the goalies from hero’s and BLC, among others
"So many PP" is one or 2 parents that most likely never played before. And probably didn't really play sports. And are biased to their kid.Anonymous wrote:Very curious as to why so many PP seem to think M&D will take a step back this year

At least 3 including the goalie
I get making the team if numbers were low, but there were over 60 girls at tryouts and they took kids who weren't there?
So much misinformation with you 2030 parents. 1 person made the team that was not at the tryout and said person was a goalie.
My dd is a field player but weren’t there around 7 goalies at the tryout? The hero’s and BLC goalies weren’t as good as this one who didn’t come to the tryouts?
