Honestly does it matter at this point? Hustle isn’t a club anymore and NITs are over.
Will it change anything- obviously, no. But if that is what that club did, then shame on them and they deserved what happened to them.
Hey let’s all be careful here. There are young girls involved, and they had no choice /involvement in the matter. Guesting South African players was a choice the club director likely chose…Not the team/girls. These girls did not “deserve” anything. They were just playing the game they love, and working hard. They would have made NIT either way. Saw this group play at NIT and it was a talented group.
Nobody “deserves” anything. Let’s keep it kind and humane here. This is a sport, not a war zone.
The results at NIT, without the internationals, tells a different story.
Maybe they would have qualified, maybe not.
Obviously, the club director had doubts.
Don't be an a$$hole. Their results weren't that diff from a lot of local clubs. And these girls worked their butts off. The club that the Arlington Coach funneled people to didn't do that great, either.

Many families are unhappy at a lot of clubs. Just look at this entire thread going back however long. And it is absolutely fair to find a better fit or culture or whatever. That is NOT exactly truthful about what happened here. And you know it.
While a couple of families left with coaching changes, one parent coordinated the departure of several other families (mostly associated with one HS program) to another club and did so in return for recruiting. This was well understood. I’m not defending Hustle’s director or how they handled recruiting. But the coordination of families leaving to go to another club, especially when that family (& some of others who left with them) was promoted and given preference for everything was not cool. To the club. To the longtime teammates. That same coach was still reaching out to hustle families just before they disbanded. That may be the politics of it and if that’s how some people choose to operate, fine. But it definitely did not sit well with many. And I happen to agree.
This is patently absurd - just because some other clubs do a much better overall job with recruiting support does not mean that there was some sort of quid pro quo for this kid or their family. Hustel simply underperformed [and lets be honest, they often did more than just underperform, they actively and threateningly used "recruiting" as a way to try and control the kids and their families.] Maybe it is your ptsd talking, but it seems you don't realize or understand that there are clubs and coaches that actually do help significantly with recruiting and do it for the sake of the kids? It certainly works that way at Warhawks, Freedom, Wolves, and Next Level

Agree that using what many are assuming are non-eligible players was the director's choice.
Disagree that the U-19 would have qualified without the internationals. All of H's top players and some second tier players had already left for other clubs. Using the internationals was an act of desperation.
intrigued about these South African players
how old were they?
what made them so good?
how do we make our daughters play like them?
were they on a study abroad program that coincided with NIQ?
or did Trump and Elon give them refuge?
Obviously there’s more to this scenario but it sounds like Hustle pulled a fast one at NITQs and got caught. Since it seems there’s been a lot of players deserting H club in the last few months, it could’ve been a number of disgruntled parent/players who blew the whistle. Lesson to be learned: Don’t cheat - you will get caught….eventually.

So sad. Look at the example you are to your children!
I came to this site to learn about the different clubs and their coaches environment etc. what I see is negativity and calling out young ladies for this and that. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
