Any chance an independent will run?
What about Symone? Would she run again?
She might be the only one with a real shot, given her name recognition. I actually think she could possibly beat Miranda.
Miranda doesn't have that much support. A lot of people want another viable choice.
Symone has ruined a lot of goodwill given her and her sidekick’s behavior on AEM. I voted for her last time but now I know better.

I don’t see why him dropping out would change the chances for an independent. MT was going to win anyway and that’s prob why he dropped out.
An independent could run regardless of what happens with the caucus.

I completely support that idea. I think there should be more than one - one from each high school - present at each school board meeting. Maybe it will remind the school board why they are there and that they should you know actually do something about schools.

This is a good idea.
Not getting this from the parents' rights APE candidate.
Dp. I think Miranda had this idea last time she ran.
sure she did.
hahahahah now Miranda is trying to steal the kid's ideas? Make up your mind Miranda camp! Are Angelo's ideas lightweight or will Miranda try to claim they are really hers?
This race will be fun to watch.

People discuss school board candidates. Get used to it.
Lived in Arlington for 20 something years and have four DCs attend AND some even now teach in APS. This thread goes way beyond discussion of SB candidates.
What part of the discussion do you find problematic?

I do think it's a gimmicky idea from the 22 year old. He's basically campaigning on youth because that's all he's got.
He is also bringing positivity. Not YEARS of disturbing baggage.
He's bringing positivity for his own personal political career interests and ambitions. He's giving frosting, no cake. He has offered no substance and is not well-versed in Arlington, let alone APS.
