If you are pro-choice, that's fine, but you ought to seek leaders with children to fight for it and be the face of it.

Why is this an issue. Is this a another “motherhood is magical” thing? Because she can certainly comprehend that she wants to make her own choices for her life without being married with a child.

What a stupid post.

The fact that 59% of abortion patients already have at least one child means there are plenty of pro-choice mothers to pick from.

And that’s not including the mothers like me who haven’t had abortions but became even more pro-choice once we experienced the full difficulties of pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting. My (unplanned) child is the light of my life, but I wouldn’t wish this on anyone who wasn’t willing going in.

I was always pro-choice but became staunchly so when pregnant with my first. It was hard AF. And by the time I got accidentally pregnant with a third that was most definitely not wanted, I was busy researching my abortion options. Fortunately for me, nature intervened and I miscarried. I had to have a D&C to make sure everything was gone. But some of these sickos believe even that is a crime. Its my most fervent wish that all of these people rot in hell.

+1. First pregnancy with husband ended in a miscarriage. I had to have a D&C which I guess would be illegal now?

A Dand C is not an abortion dip shit.

Yes, actually, it is. If a doctor has to assist your miscarriage, congratulations. You have had an abortion.

I have federal health insurance and they paid for my D & C after a miscarriage; they wouldn't have paid for an abortion to end a live pregnancy. But yeah, the laws in red states are going to call it all "abortion".

No they will not because they are by definition NOT.

It’s right here in my medical record. It gave me a jolt the first time I read it.

Keep living in denial though.

Again, a procedure to remove an already dead fetus is NOT an abortion of a living baby. Get the f over yourselves.

IDIOT. It is still an abortion and it is still banned! WTF is wrong with you? Did you believe all the propaganda you were subjected to, that liberal feminists were blood thirsty witches? You still think we just like to make things up, be hysterical? Come on over to the dark side because your forced birther party is ducking things all the way up. Birth control is next - Louisiana already had a ban in progress. What other truths can we tell you that you have so far ignored?

+1. Do you think there’s an undertone of panic in these posts? I see people desperately trying to convince themselves that ITS ALL GOING TO BE FINE, NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. MY D&C WAS A PROPER ONE, A LEGAL ONE.

LOL. And they should be panicking. Its going to get a lot worse. But hey, at least those kids everyone will be forced to have will have a great chance of getting a bullet in their brains in a few short years.

People also don't understand the privacy implications of this decision.

Women who may become pregnant need to start tracking their cycles ON PAPER. Dollar stores carry pregnancy tests. It might make sense to keep certain medications on hand as well.

Who’s out there hemming and hawing about getting an abortion for 15, 20, 25 weeks? Waiting for a payout or an engagement? Sounds like drama.

I have two friends one of whom had no idea she was pregnant until 16 weeks along and another who didn’t know until 20 weeks.

It happens and it happens a LOT particularly with unpredictable cycles.

So what’s next, forced pregnancy tests every day? JUst to be sure?

Because that leaves out the women in red states who still should have a right to make decisions about their bodies. Don’t you get it?

Abortion won't stop. It will just be the rich that get it.

Guess Mississippi will limit abortions to 15 weeks pregnant and under.

That’s 96% of abortions anyhow and still a carve out for health if the women.

No, the at is incorrect. In addition to the 15-week ban challenged in Donna, Mississippi also has a trigger law that will go into effect within the next ten days that will ban all abortion in the state with the exception of imminent threat to the woman’s life (i.e., when she’s literally bleeding out on the table) or in the case of rape where there is a formal charge (which is decided by the prosecutor, a police report by the victim is not enough).

High doses of vitamin c works as well, and many herbs/tinctures.

HOWEVER, these are not recommended as being safe. That’s the issue. There are plenty of ways to cause a miscarriage naturally, but they all come with risk.

Enter coat hangers.

Total ban means total ban and I don’t think OBs and gyns are going to risk their license and freedom to give a quiet abortion to a loose lipped forced birther.

For another thing, this is what they’ve campaigned on for decades. Think how fired up pro choice voters will be. Think how incendiary the anger of women who understand that the GOP thinks they’re just a uterus with legs and that they have no right to self determination or bodily autonomy.

And they’re not done. The right wing is clearly planning violence to try and pin it on pro choice people again, but we see them coming this time.

Tell on all your forced birther friends and family who have gotten an abortion. Share their names with everyone. Statistically speaking, forced birthers are just as likely to have had an abortion as pro choice people. Even the two repetitive pps who have been baby sitting this thread from Tennessee.

- with love from a pro choice and reliable Democratic voter raising three young boys to be pro choice feminists.

Maybe. Not really what I’m picking up. I’m getting mostly unmitigated glee, some schadenfreude, and for the true believers a sense of peaceful satisfaction with having finally won a decades’ long battle. But on the other hand, sure, you seem like someone who has a genuine grasp on the mindset of pro-lifers.

As for pro choice voters being fired up and mobilized politically? Time will tell. I’d love it if some of those women reallocated time from promiscuous sex and visiting the clinic to engaging civically for what they believe in.

16 weeks? Finding out whether the abnormal results of the NIPT were fatal.

Stupid man. Go harass another thread.

Now we're conflating (15+ week) abortions with an over the counter pill?

I guess so. Because I don't think Plan B is the same as an abortion. I was under the impression Plan B is basically like an extra strength birth control pill.

And either way, I don't know if that woman's tweet is real? It's a disturbing thing to tweet publicly and her twitter history sounds unhinged and unwell.

We become unhinged when the men asking us to abort or take plan b, are now the ones making anti abortion laws for other women.

I would love to have every Republican lawmaker or politician to be outed for each abortion they’ve paid for or requested.

I'd settle for knowing how many Kavanaugh caused. I'm sure he didn't pay for any. He’s too much of a roue and rouge.

I have a feeling that Kavanaugh hasn’t had sex with very many women, and that’s why he has so much lingering incel rage against then.

That whole Yale thing...

My kids are all teens. But I thought there were new tests that you could do very early in the pregnancy? With no wiggle room or time to wait for the 20 week anatomy scan, abortions will move up too. Just in case.
