Jen Hatmaker literally built a church in her own image and she doesn’t even go there anymore. Too “painful”, she says.

And now she wants to teach church going women about “faith”.

It’s all a grift.

if she hates the church so much, then idk why she keeps dipping her toe in over and over. girl, you decided that you were too cool for church. nobody needs you to tell them anything about church.

I think she her next grift will have a churchy theme. Either online church or a visiting pastor/speaker to churches. It really might work for her, there’s probably a dumb audience for it.

Her recent video, smiling about "wanting to create an online space where 🙏 you can bring your hopes and hurts and need for a church" and then two seconds later trying to sell me a 👜 purse.

I don't feel safe there, in her "space " actually. I feel like I need to be quite alert.

Is there any chance that bandana has dreads attached to it? I know he's had cancer in the past, and maybe lost all his hair but is vain enough to not want to show it? Just riffing on why he always has it on and fiddles around with it.

Does Sass have any black male friends? Like, any at all?

The irony is that Jen 2.0 is just another voice on cable TV opinion shows. One of a million. If she had stayed true to Jen 1.0 she would have had a real good chance. That person had a point of view that was unique and refreshing.

This may be super unpopular but- most female pastors I have heard take forever to make a point.

Hard pass on any wedding with random people bursting into song. I know I know they’re talented but also musical theatre people are often insufferable.

Jen is really stretching it w the Mom and Dad reference. Will her besties intervene here and not just some porch swing ?
