Because college sports are about assembling teams to win competitions. School admissions are not about that in any way.
Boy are you in for a rude awakening when your kid applies to UVA.
I mean, whenever I have children down the road, I'll be encouraging them to do their research about what schools will be the right fits for them across a broad spectrum of metrics.
Chances are the admissions environment will be much different 15-20 years down the road than it is now. One thing I won't have is misguided expectations about where they will and won't get in, nor will I be evaluating the caliber of my parenting based on their acceptances, rejections, and deferrals.
I'll evaluate my parenting based on the level of effort they put into the process as well as how they handle the results - and how they make the most of whatever opportunity is afforded to them.
So go tell URMs who were rejected from TJ to increase their level of effort (study harder & longer), accept the rejections with grace and make the most of the opportunities afforded to them by affirmative action and other measures.

Studies have shown that IQ can increase generationally with education. We need to make sure that blacks value education more. Education has to be the primary focus. Sadly, we are a long way from that. I would like to see a marshall type plan that from day 1 of school makes the child and parent realize that education of the child is the most important component of raising the child.
That only applies to some Asians. IQ of Indians is quite low. Future generations in America might settle the nurture vs nature debate,
You must be the poster who posts often extolling the virtues of Jewish and Chinese intelligence. The IQ tests are generally flawed and the results are highly correlated with level of education. I bet the IQ of Black kids will be about the same as everyone else if you adjust for level of education and family wealth/status.
Assuming your theory that "some Asians" are more intelligent than Indians is true and the same "cream of the crop" left their respective countries to come to the US, how come Indians are wiping the floor with pretty much all other Asians in almost all disciplines? Evidence: Google average family income by ethnicity.
On the other hand, if your statement that "IQ of Indians is quite low" is true and yet a good number of them are very successful in the US, why can't Blacks achieve the same results? It's all about the education and mindset..
Income is not the same as intelligence. Indian immigrants are not representative of all Indians.
You can have your intelligence then. Print your IQ score and use it in wipe your a** for all I care. If intelligence cannot be used in a productive pursuit which in turn results in the accumulation of an economic advantage to the person deploying such intelligence, what's its purpose?

Like what Lacrosse, Crew, Hockey, Cycling, Swimming, Golf, Wrestling, Skiing, Skydiving, Weightlifting, etc. Idk, maybe somebody wants to keep them white. Wanna see more Asians in there? File a lawsuit you like you did against TJ.
The lawsuit against TJ was to take race out of the consideration. Treat everyone equally and let merit decide admissions. Asians aren't advocating for racial quotas in sports, just pointing out that people only care about race when Asians are too successful if decisions are done objectively and in a race blind manner.
The new system also takes race out of TJ admissions.
That’s not what the Judge said. Don’t lie to yourself. We all know the new admissions policy is solely in place to reduce the number of Asians in hopes of increasing the number of URMs.

The new system is great. It helps minimize the impact that people who buy prep classes have on admissions and gives all kids regardless of their families income a fair chance.
