When China said the virus was no big deal, Vietnam knew they were lying, closed the border immediately and quarantined returning citizens.
That seems to be a commonality in Asian countries. Didn’t South Korea and Japan do the same things? They’re more used to disease outbreaks coming from China and they knew how to respond right away.
