Well I can only speak for myself, but I never said he should resign. I’m all for holding ALL elected officials to a higher standard, but until we as a nation show a willingness to do that, I’m not going to cherry pick this one person for assholery. If/when we are ready to apply the “no-asshole” standard to all, please let me know.
