Either way there will new new ECNL badge in MD, to replace BSC or to punish BSC if they do not switch their boys to ECNL. Safe to say that no one is dropping MLSN for Ecnl boys. Change is coming either way
NJ Match Fit Surf nee Academy announced a potential promotional leave for NA ECNL division. It would likely be a Maryland club or two would get a stab at that with a handful of NJ and EPA teams.
it will be a promotion league with PDA South MFA new RL and there are two GA teams from MD joining the Promotion league with two other teams in the RL expansion league

Heard Coppermine, Celtic, and potentially STA out of NJ.
I think they are targeting GA teams with ECNL boys to combat MLSN/ECNL teams leaving
ECNL had the chance to wipe out GA
By bringing in girls GA clubs with boys ECNL. That train may have passed.
TopHat, SC Surf, STA, HTX to start…
Nothing is forever. Honestly, not sure which way this will go.
If I’m STA I’m on the phone with MLSN to get in immediately. Their boys are definitely qualified for MLSN and they still maintain a very good girls program in GA that qualify for Champions Cup routinely.
PDA Blue and MFA are both relatively close and PDA Blue will always pull top players on reputation. STA would rarely qualify for nationals out of current ECNL NA division.
Depending upon Bethesda, PDA, FC Delco decisions in future years and pressure from combatting leagues ECNL NA is in trouble.
