I just had a DC metro encounter with an unhinged drunk/mentally ill person and my thoughts immediately went to Penny - as in I could fully understand why someone would have wanted to physically restrain him. This was a BIG man who was pacing and ranting about killing people with his bare hands. I was with my kid and just tried not to move at all. We moved to the next car at the next stop but it felt like a very long time. It was really not fun.

At 3:30 in the morning? I know NY is the city that never sleeps but cmon how many other single people, or Marines, were there at hand who didn't help?
