You are very naive if you think that it is one person war. There is a huge conglomerate behind Putin that will continue his work. Additionally, Putin can remain in power for another 15 years.

Russia is moving toward a civil war each day. First individual soldiers will stop following orders, (2) next whole units will refuse orders or join the other side, (3)next units will turn on other units and (4)finally it’s a civil war. Right now we are between 2 and 3. Russia has a history of this.

We're into 2 for sure - there have been several reports over the last month of hostility, firing and shelling between Wagner and Russian Army.

Yawn. You didn't even read the article that you posted. None of the three WW2 examples were from the US.

The three, by the way, were 1) UK records about Rudolph Hess' flight to the UK 2) UK records about a ship of Jewish refugees and 3) Canadian records of the names of Canadians that helped the UK with some radars.

By the way, some of the US WW2 records that were delayed, but have since been released, were about Russian soldiers raping everything that moved.

Meanwhile in Russia, this story is classified: https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/goat-of-kyiv-leaves-40-russians-injured-after-setting-off-grenade-booby-trap/

What a country!

Liar.

The only WWII files still classified are from the Manhattan Project (how to build an atomic bomb) and no, those won't be declassified.

I was wondering what Lavrov would do with 8 billion Rupees?

Truism..
"Dubbed the “new oil,” semiconductors drive satellites, missile systems, warships, smartphones, refrigerators, vehicles, and economies."
https://www.kyivpost.com/opinion/17234

Situation..
"Russia is using computer chips meant for household appliances in battlefield gear"
https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/05/11/russia-sanctions-effect-military/

Issue..
"Russia Says It Has Billions of Indian Rupees That It Can’t Use. Lavrov says Russia needs rupees changed into another currency. India and Russia seek to resolve the issue amid sanctions risk."
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-05-05/russia-says-it-has-billions-of-indian-rupees-that-it-can-t-use#xj4y7vzkg

Solution?
"India on Wednesday unveiled an expanded incentive scheme to attract big-ticket investments in IT hardware manufacturing, doubling the amount to $2 billion as it aims to spur domestic production of laptops and tablets."
https://www.reuters.com/article/india-renewable-energy/india-says-clean-energy-a-160-billion-opportunity-over-five-years-idINKBN0LV0W820150227

Someone needs to go knocking on a few doors..

So wish this was true but I really do not see it happening this way.

Some Russian leader was quoted as saying something to the effect of “because we look like you; you assume we think like you” - referring to white Europeans and the west. I am sure someone can figure out this quote - whomever said it.

But Russians are not wired like us; they have no ambition or drive for freedom or liberty- like they missed that gene in the human DNA. It simply does not exist.

Unfortunately for the world; the Ukrainians labeling them “orcs” fits very well.

Why would they join the other side?!
Many soldiers want to go home but very few are enchanted by any ideology Ukraine has to offer. Why fight for them?

Nope. He doesn't have the health to sit for another 15 years. And the longer this war drags on, the more of a liability it become for him, and the more power he loses.

I believe the defector from his personal security circle said he wasn’t aware of any health issues.
I mean I wish he’d croak asap but it’s just not very likely?

Probably a good time to start that spring offensive.

Not interested in anything a Russian mouthpiece like RT has to say.

DP but it’s FT reporting originally.

They also are now getting F-16s, time to have the final battle and proceed to peace talks.

99% of WW2 information is still classified.
That is why we still only see the same 10-20 pictures of d-day. All the pictures soldiers took, army press corp etc were collected and classified to this day.

One thing that was declassified recently was the general Montgomery thing and why the US bashed his caution all the time. He was on direct orders from Churchill to save all British troops for the next phase of the war.
Yup, fighting Russia.
While the US did not go for it there is no shortage of plans from long ago that war with Russia is inevitable; and (from what little we know) UK and Europe still plan for it. They won’t stop using Ukraine as a proxy anytime soon; this is the best investment the west can make.

US won’t stop because it is a great test of our weapons for war with China.

No not really.

We are giving away really old crap for the most part

M113 APCs? Literally Vietnam era;

Hawk ground to air missiles? Used in the Cuban missile crisis;

Patriot? Developed for Desert Storm in the 1990s.

Even the M-1 main battle tank and F-16s we are giving them are very outdated tech.

War with China won’t rely on any U.S. tanks at all. It will be about subs, missiles, and aircraft carriers.

Clueless. Not every weapon is kinetic.
