Not comparable but more reason to mask.

Yep. The rest of the country is no where near as obsessed as the DC area. I no longer live in the DMV and covid has not been an issue here since the spring. It's definitely not a topic of conversation anymore.
Same. I live in a blue state/town. No one is talking about covid. It’s not treated differently now than the cold or a flu. The only evidence left of COVID is when you go to the doctor/hospital where masks are required. But these are the same places that allow or require cloth masks so they clearly aren’t that bright.
