This sums up the whole exvangelical deconstruction thing. It's a bunch of people who think that because they rejected conservative evangelicalism they are now super cool and they want everyone to know how cool they are now, like a dorky kid who gets a cool outfit and then struts around acting all bad while everyone else is embarrassed for them.

That's so funny. I asked my teen to define the difference between a try hard and a pick me and he really couldn't give me a straight answer but said pick me's were usually girls.

Remember when Jen was "deeply honored" to give the prayer for Biden's inauguration but had to apologize for it due to a line about thanking God for this land which is a little awkward in that there were people living here well before the colonists started coming. She admitted that she didn't even write the prayer, the organizers did, and felt weird as soon as she read it because she feels so deeply and cares so deeply and is incredibly in touch with the pain and struggles of indigenous Americans, obviously.

I am really confused about something and I am not trying to come off as an insensitive jerk.

Why the bandana Tyler?

It is not fashionable or in at least I don't think so. I'm a middle aged lady who buys her pants at Costco but I'm not completely in the dark. The bandana on the head like he wears it is not a thing.

I thought that type of bandana was kind of a biker or Mexican gang thing, like something you'd wear while riding a harley or with a wifebeater and baggy jeans.

I dont think I've ever seen anyone wear a black bandana - and apparently black is the only color or maybe its the same banada and he hopefully washes it sometimes - with a sport coat.

Is he trying to cover up baldness? He doesn't seem bald. And sometimes he wears it like a do rag and sometimes like the Karate Kid.

Can someone explain it or is it just something that is not going to make sense everr?
