We chose Miami white (level 3 upgrade) for the kitchen countertop, waterfall island, backsplash, and all bathroom and powder room and prep kitchen countertops. Our current home have the Calcutta gold in the kitchen countertop, island, and backsplash; the all white quartz (Miami white) seems more contemporary for the interior of a modern farmhouse (our current home is a transitional craftsman style home).

Our cabinet choice is the same as the one in the Palatine model home (level 2 upgrade). Like the slab style, wood look, textured, light colored contemporary look. We all lower cabinets of main kitchen to drawers for pots and pan, and upgraded all bath and powder rooms and prep kitchen cabinet doors to the same style. Also upgraded all bath and powder rooms cabinets to include drawers.

The sink faucets, knobs, shower heads, towel rods, bathroom hooks, etc. are upgrade to the same style as in the Palatine model home

Those were the ones we considered as well.. you can find both quartz counters at the Home Depot Design Center on Rockville Pike in two different kitchen vignettes.

We also narrowed it down to these two plus Calcutta Ultra. In the end, we didn’t go with Pearl Jasmine because I was worried that the darker lines may appear more like a “spider web” if the particular slab is not good. The one at the Columbia Design Center had this issue even though likelihood of getting a bad slab is low. They swapped the sample out when they moved to Mt Prospect so maybe it was just the particular slab

I assume the 48 inch fridge reduces your cabinet space...do they make the cabinets smaller or keep same size, but eliminate one set?

They make the cabinets smaller. Maybe this is why it only cost $50 to upgrade the refrigerator to 48". But all models have enough storage space in this community, this is a worthwhile upgrade.
