Yorktown missing 2 starters at close d

Early scrimmages everyone’s missing someone. It happens.
I think he meant that those are the holes in the defense

I was going to ask for clarification on that.

"Missing" as in:

* They are hurt but will return
* They're playing another sport still
* This is a team deficiency

Scoring was spread out for both teams… I think each team had a guy with a max of 2 points each. Good showing for both teams but I think Riverside showed more speed & skills.
Robo scored a goal on themselves at one point and looked timid & unsure at times.

I think starter on starter it was 6-5 Riverside with a Robinson own goal. Robinson held Riverside scoreless in the 3rd. Either way, it was a good test for both teams and the Riverside O v. Robinson D was fun to watch.

Starter on starter was 6-4 Riverside. It was 6-3 at the half.

They cant control there District Games when they were 6A, and their coaches dont have much say in who they play, its tightly controlled by Athletic Director. Like other schools, Fairfax plays on different nights than Loudoun, so to schedule teams from other counties someone is playing back-2-back, unless you add teams in a Spring Break Tournament, which many teams cant do for several reasons.

Second half, both teams subbed and it showed, with Battlefield winning 5-2 the 2nd half. As usual between these two teams I think there was 2 total penalties. Both teams appeared to have players either injuried or not playing for some reason.

Would imagine both teams win 10+ games, as there is talent at every position.
Battlefield seems a little more polished on offense with 2X as many looks at the cage.

Maybe Freedom but Battlefield's schedule is pretty damn tough for 10+ wins this year.

Freedom has had the easiest schedule ever since Covid. Why don’t they schedule anyone?
