Every girl on the Saints offense is a threat. There are 3 or 4 that go to goal more than others but that does not mean others are not threats. Game will come down to endurance in the 4th as neither team seems to sub a lot.
So is Potomac. Every girl gets a touch and everyone is a threat. These girls have built such a cute/tight knit bond. One hit wonder type of team though.
Get over yourself, mom, they're not THAT good.

Look, they went undefeated last year, challenged themselves with a very difficult out of conference schedule, and have won 6 straight. They beat Visi and Milton (which other top DC area teams failed to do).
From my perspective, they remain the top team in the DC area until someone beats them. The only team remaining on their schedule that has a chance to do that appears to be Potomac. It's too bad they don't play SR or SSSAS--or have a WCAC vs ISL Super Bowl, but it seems like they have earned some respect. Potomac game will be a good test.
Can we make that a yearly game? At the end of the season have the WCAC and ISL winners play each other in a bowl game? Maybe PopTarts would sponsor?
That would be fun. I'm sure both sides would be on board.
GC is the only team that has consistently been a top team in the area year in and year out, regardless of if they have been "the" top team. Like him or not, MH seems to get the best out of his players and the majority seem to like to play for him. He won't be everyone's cup of tea but DD likes him and appreciated that even when she was on JV that he knew her name and takes an interest in all of the players not just his varsity stars.
What?! Are you new here? Have you heard of a school called St. Stephens / St. Agnes?
Exactly - SSSAS is the only truly top team from DC year in and year out over the long term (decades) even though there is increasing parity in DC area teams now.
When is the last time they were nationally ranked though? ISL championships are nice for the school but national ranking matters more to a programs reputation overall and girls recruiting.

Still reeling from their loss to inferior & cupcake scheduled SSSAS, they followed with a loss to Georgia public Milton. Even WCAC's managed a win against Milton. National level talent which can't even make it to the ISL title game. Battlefield wants next.
It's coaching for one. But also, the local talent from Capital who get recruited to the "top" programs rarely see much playing time. They may be good for this area, but they just don't get to the level of Baltimore, Philly, NY talent.
Wait, you are tracking the playing time of the hundreds of college players who used to play for the many clubs across the mid Atlantic? Impressive.
Can you send this analysis please? Would love to see it.
