So the US wanted Iran to give out not only their pursuit of nuclear weapons, but also give up all their ballistic missiles. Wow. Talk about trying to make a country unable to defend itself from invaders. I don't want Iran to have nuclear weapons. But I also don't want Israel, China, Russia, USA, N. Korea, India, UK, and France to have nuclear weapons, but they do. This war demonstrates that if you have a nuclear weapon, your country will not be attacked. If Ukraine had kept their nuclear weapons, Russia would not have attacked. I can understand why Iran wants the weapon. Trump will give both Saudi Arabia and Qutar nuclear weapon capabilities, for a price,

20k plus Iranians killed by the regime this year.

NP - that doesn’t justify killing children. If this president wanted to attack Iran, he needed to get Congressional approval before doing so.

1. It probably does. You wouldn’t take their side risk of killing 100 kids to save 20,000+ people?

2. I agree re Congressional approval.

How did 20,000 people get saved?

How many protesters did the Iranian regime kill so far this year? How many more would have died in the months ahead?

Look, I actually am not in favor of this aggression. But we should all recognize that this is a complicated situation.

For those who are opposed bc of potential civilian cost, we have to consider the alternative.

For those concerned about US intervention (citing Iraq or Afghanistan), we need to also weigh cases where the US did NOT intervene and the result was tragic. See Syria and Rwanda.

I get that people are wound up and that many are here with predetermined agendas, but the reality is that this is a complicated issue that merits far more serious discussion than it’s receiving here.

So you admit, we are no better than the enemy. Innocent children be damn. Oh shucks, I already knew this administration cared naught for little girls. Epstein Island, everybody say it loud.

No, he’s not.

Maybe have a nap and try again later.

Exactly! For some reason, talking about the oppression of women and gays by Islam is not politically correct among progressives. Why??

Yes the US and Israel have no allies. Wonder how much this will cost the US tax payers? Bet this war will be more expensive vs what republicans cuts from healthcare, Social Security and Medicare.

No price too high for Israel.

US has more allies than Iran. Australia, Canada, Saudi, Gulf States all directly or indirectly supported the attacks.

Make no mistake about what’s happening here: the entire region plus the US is ending Iran’s decades-long effort to destabilize the ME.

Astonishing that Arabs, Israelis and the US are cooperating to make this happen.

Do you think that if the USA put boots on the ground in Iran, these countries will willingly send their men and women like they did in 2004 Iraq. I don't know, but they should not.

But the born-again Christians will love it. Because, as I recall, something big (What exactly, I don't recall) has to happen in Israel before the second coming can happen and this war helps a lot with that.

Then Jesus comes back - YAY! So it's all worth it, right?

Uh, no.

He is corrupt, disrespectful to women, thinks the law does not apply to him, lies more often than not, has cheated on every wife he ever had, had been accused of sexual abuse by scores of women (including accusations of rape from his first wife), he is a war criminal (ie, burning drug suspects alive, with zero trial or defense), alienating our international allies, plastering his name and face on everything in sight, totally disregards the vision of governance laid out in our Constitution …I could go on, but how can one possibly think this man should be making decisions on behalf of the United States.
