Yorktown #3 is the real deal. They have some players but the entire offense runs through him pretty much. Faceguard him and they will have trouble scoring many. Defense has holes.

How’s Yorktown look?

Battlefield over Freedom 5-4 in the 1st half. Both teamsjad some good moments and bad. Freedom.struggled with clears, and Battlefield struggled at the Faceoff X. Second half, both teams subbed and it showed, with Battlefield winning 5-2 the 2nd half. As usual between these two teams I think there was 2 total penalties. Both teams appeared to have players either injuried or not playing for some reason.

Would imagine both teams win 10+ games, as there is talent at every position. Battlefield seems a little more polished on offense with 2X as many looks at the cage.

Who was good on Robo O?

Robinson had some talent, I thought it was a super good showing for a first scrimmage. They seemed like a very physical team both offensively and defensively. The new SSDM’s that are starting after graduating those 2 twins last year looked phenominal. Riverside had some great shooters and the Robinson goalie looked unusually off. I counted atleast 3 goals being from atleast outside 13 yards and also the one off the Robo defenders stick. Both teams look like top contenders in there class.

Noi dog in this fight, but you all do realize that regular season mean just about nothing come playoff time.

All that matters is your district playoff, regional and playoff wins......

Anonymous wrote:Tally tonight on Riverside VS Robo was 8-5 in favor of Riverside. Riverside was ahead by 1 or 2 majority of the scrimmage. Scoring was spread out for both teams… I think each team had a guy with a max of 2 points each. Good showing for both teams but I think Riverside showed more speed & skills.
Robo scored a goal on themselves at one point and looked timid & unsure at times.

I think starter on starter it was 6-5 Riverside with a Robinson own goal. Robinson held Riverside scoreless in the 3rd. Either way, it was a good test for both teams and the Riverside O v. Robinson D was fun to watch.

I expect that Indy is going to have difficulty scoring against teams with good defenses. But man will they pile on a lot of points against the bad teams that make up 90% of their schedule.

Easiest schedule for a contender ever?
By far. They play 2 teams that are mentioned in the top 7, one of which being a scrimmage with Madison. If they were a real contender, they would try to pack their schedule like Madison does.

Yes, like Riverside schedules top public and private teams every year. Prepares the players for Lacrosse after HS and preps the team for playoff runs. Indy will be ill prepared come playoff time.

Tier 1 - Top 7 (Title contenders):

-Indy
-Robo
-Madison
-Battlefield
-Yorktown
-Langley
-Cosby

Tier 2 - Next Best - Can compete for a spot in states but not winning a ring (In no order):

-Chantilly
-Herndon
-Woodson
-West Potomac
-Lake Braddock
-Oakton
-Gainesville

All other programs not in the top 14 are in a tier below the teams listed above
If we wanna talk about schedule comparisons, Indy plays only one of these teams regular season. Madison plays 9....

I'm an Indy hater - But they do play Loyola Academy (Ill.) who have 6 D1 commits so at least they play 2 hard games during the regular season
