Wouldn't worry a lot about whether your DD makes it or not, as it does not have much, if any, impact over the longer term with actually important things like getting into showcases like Best in Class, Juniors Open, or American Select in future years.
I would have agreed with this statement yesterday but after seeing the roster and knowing who made it without attending tryouts I have a better sense of how this played out and it doesn’t have much to do with actual lacrosse playing
This for 2030 age group too? My daughter did not make it, but a few of the girls that did make it were very good players.

Maybe good practice to attend a competitive tryout, but most of the top 28s and 29s did not go after Md Select. Not sure it was a thing before that.
I will say that what Coach Haight is doing with the planned Middle School recruiting event with private school coaches in DC and Baltimore area is pretty interesting. Probably means that his Good Counsel program will stay loaded at the very least.
Can you elaborate on the middle school recruiting event? What is that?

Right MD Select isn't even close to being in same category as a BIC, Juniors, AS or AA, but it is just more reps and chance to play outside of the club team.
