I do not wish to defend him because I'm in the "screamers/abusers are bad people and bad coaches" camp - but allegations of racism are more often than not BS these days. Given the way that story is written, I very much doubt he said anything that most people would find offensive.
Interesting that Spirit didn’t take his side. I also find it more believable that he did say these things considering he clearly has no filter.
What is more likely that a screaming diarrhea of the mouth 1950’s style Coach said a racists thing or he has enough self awareness to not say a racists thing?
