It seems we have a deeper, more catastophic problem. Maybe the GOP House is on to something when they say we really need to investigate the FBI.

No, they didn't invade Ukraine when Trump was POTUS because Trump didn't support NATO, and so they had no fear of Ukraine joining NATO. Trump wanted to be best buds with Russia. The invasion wasn't about absorbing Ukraine into Russia as much as it was about putting up a barrier between western Europe/NATO and Russia. They didn't need that barrier under Trump. They do under Biden (and would've under Clinton), who aren't gaga over Putin like Trump is.
