We are scheduled to travel in 2 weeks and the delta variant is making me more nervous for going out to a lot of public places at our destination. I don't really want to go back to N95s though

We are fully vaxed with Moderna, but I didn't have any reaction or feel run down after the 2nd shot, so I have this lingering fear my body didn't mount a good immune response. I know that is unlikely and they have said there isn't a correlation, but I can't shake it.

My dad was hospitalized with severe pancreatitus caused by COVID (and a fairly moderate case of COVID at that). I really want to avoid the havoc it is causing in a lot of people's bodies.

I'm sticking with a kn95 or kf94 mask for shared indoor spaces. They're not hard to get or wear, so it's no big deal. The ounce of prevention is cheap and easy. I don't need to even worry about whether its overkill. Its easy, painless overkill. People who become enraged about other people's continued mask wearing are weird.
