DP and the issue with their observations is that they shared them with their sister in a very hurtful way. That’s not the act of a loving, caring brother and if you see no issue with that then you are not a good friend to this woman. My brothers would never have been unkind to me in this way - not beyond 6th grade, anyway.

Back to the picture of Nicole Kidman and team; they’re all beautiful but it is jarring to see how petite Reese Witherspoon and Zoe Kravitz are in comparison to Woodley and Kidman. On screen they are all shot to seem pretty much the same height.

I think men are often attracted to confident women - and if a tall woman is secure about her height then it’s not a factor for the guy. Too many tall women are insecure about their height and that is what holds them back more often than not.

I’m a short woman (5’ 0) and my husband is 6’ 4”. I don’t know that height was a factor for either of us as we dated and fell in love. That said, other people comment on it all the time and I think for some people height matters but that cuts both ways for short and tall people, alike.

It's tough for lesbians too. My best friend is over six feet but she's not "butch" and she hasn't dated in twenty years. Most women aren't anywhere near her height and it just doesn't work.

yeah. I saw an episode of some TLC reality show about tall women (the fact that TLC even felt the need to do a dating show centered around the dating lives of tall women shows that they do indeed face discrimination/dating issues in the first place) and there was a lesbian couple were the woman was like 6'2 and the woman she was with was 5'1. They honestly looked kind of strange and at one point the tall woman picked up the short woman like a baby. I would imagine it's particularly hard if you're a femme lesbian- in this couple the tall woman was a butch which fit fairly well
