NP.

I did Taking Cara Babies starting at 6 months and in 3 weeks my baby was sleeping through the night (with a dream feed at 10;30/11 ish for a few more months). I kind of hate to recommend it beacause the owner was a Trump supporter, donated to his campaign, etc., but oh man, I loved it. Very gentle and gradual, and it really did work. If I were you OP, I would download the materials and just start doing it since you're the one who handles nights. My "baby" is 2 now and she is of course healthily attached, happy as can be, and thriving.

This is the problem when women don't make their partners equal partners in raising the kids. They won't give them independence in their choices and then later complain that husbands are useless.

We did Taking Cara Babies (i.e., gentle sleep training, a version of Ferber) at 6 months. It worked in 3 nights and made DS so much happier. You can purchase a one-on-one session with them. I would recommend that or a sleep consultant as others have suggested. Your wife can always reject the advice after she gets it, but it seems unreasonable to not at least hear it out / get the information before rejecting it (assuming it is within your budget).

Even when he watches the baby he has to do it her way. Since she doesn't work I bet he is never alone with the baby either.

Nope. He doesn't have to wake up and go to baby every time he cries at night. If she wants to continue that, she can do it.
