Inner-city crime is skyrocketing this past year.

He does it on purpose.

Then why is she supporting open borders with the unrestricted transport of guns flooding America?

Thank you. That's what I was trying to say previously but I am not as eloquent as you.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I’m guessing a contributor or benefactor is quietly picking up the tab for her.
And as far as I’m concerned, that’s money well-spent. She needs to protected and safe, so she can keep uttering facepalm-worthy statements as often as possible. She’s the younger face of democrat party, and I want her to be able to say as many stupid things as she can. And she hasn’t disappointed thus far.
I’m with you there. The problem is not that she has security, it’s that she is pushing policies that make the rest of us less safe while ensuring SHE is safe.
People calling for defunding the police are doing so to make people MORE safe not less. They're not pro crime. They are anti police killing private citizens willy nilly. Which you obviously know but are still snarkily pretending means something different.
how does defunding the police make us more safe when crime happens?
Everyone can't have a private security team like AOC. That is the hypocrisy. She said herself what she meant by defund. That means the rest of us without the means to hire private security get to live with crime ridden communities while the elite get protection.
FFS, welcome to summer 2020. I know, I know “defund the police” is a moronic catchphrase because although a tiny percentage of the people who say it truly mean “let’s get rid of the police altogether!” what most people is “let’s reconfigure the police forces so that they serve everyone to the best of their ability. Let’s get rid of the militarized police. Let’s have a larger mental health and social work presence, because a lot of the things for which the police are called would be better served by having a social worker or someone who works in mental health or drug addiction. Let’s make sure that Black people feel confident that if they call the police that they’ll get the same treatment a White who calls the police would get.” Etc. It’s more like “let’s reimagine the police.”
Dumb slogan, but there we are. Now you can stop being angry about the phrase and focus on the fact that right wing media has whipped a lot of unhinged right wingers into a hateful froth against AOC and she gets more threats of violence and sexual violence and sadism against her, so she has to fork over for private security because that’s not a service that the police provide. So the next time you hear Tucker or Ted Cruz or your friend Dick going off about AOC, listen for the freakish sexual/violent obsession with her. If it’s your friend, tell them what you hear in their voice.

The people who actually DEPEND on cops more than anyone else, are precisely lower income people.
And now with the defunding actions, killings are surging in the inner cities.
Except, they’re not dependable. If you’d ever been in the position of living in a poor neighborhood, and trying to report a crime, you’d know that already.
81% of Black Americans Don't Want Less Police Presence Despite Protests—Some Want More Cops: Poll
A majority of Black Americans have said they want police presence in their area to either remain the same or increase, despite recent protests over police brutality, according to new polls.
A Gallup poll conducted from June 23 to July 6 surveying more than 36,000 U.S. adults found that 61 percent of Black Americans said they'd like police to spend the same amount of time in their community, while 20 percent answered they'd like to see more police, totaling 81 percent. Just 19 percent of those polled said they wanted police to spend less time in their area.
