If its a good BSC second team, yes and have had friends whose kids have done well with D3 and helped to get into a college they wanted. Second teams vary a lot - so you just need to do the due diligence on the year.

Pp this is so much anger. When you're telling a coach fu, it's time for a club change. I hope your dd doesn't feel all of this from you and just enjoys playing.

But have seen the BSC parent craziness now for 10+ years. Though seems like there are other equally crazy parents at other soccer clubs in VA and other sports. If you are at a place with a good parent group in the DMV in a competitive sport, you have found a unicorn.
Having come to BSC from another club, yes - BSC parents are cray-cray.
Very true, but some of the new parents are next-level crazy.

I think PP is correct. There are a lot of crazies out there. In last several years, I’ve seen parents on opposing ECNL teams fight each other on sidelines, parents get kicked out of games, and one parent walk on the field to yell at the refs in a tournament - and it wasn’t even a game his girl was playing in, but the game result meant his DD’s team failed to advance to the finals. There is crazy all around, including those of us reading and posting on a youth soccer gossip site.![]()
Forget about Real Housewives of X, we need Real Parents of Travel Soccer
I would tune in EVERY 👏🏻 FREAKING 👏🏻WEEK👏🏻!
Any up and coming producers want to start a pilot?

Came up at u 13 (the one I would say promoted from within) . 1 from Severn. 1 from Rush) . 2 from BSC from forever (unless they play other girl who came from Rush.) 4 defenders. All have been on top team since u 11 or came from outside club. Goalie. Outside club. Liar. Kevin or board member.
