I don't want to see officer killed. I support our police. And a person makes a choice to be an officer, or not. A citizen does not make a choice to be black and therefore "scary" to some officers.

Average Joe Schmo who is not a police officer should be able to pull into a gas station or whatever without getting shot or pepper sprayed or tazed by our official law enforcement.

This isn't a complex thought: Police should not shoot anyone running away from them. Ever.

Yep. Cops are trained to be able to catch him without killing him. The cops were not under any threat at the time. None of them mentioned that they though he might have a gun and he certainly didn't appear to be reaching for anything that would put them in danger.

So many people in this threat are problematic. Cops should de-escalate. Cops should not kill people for resisting arrest. Cops should not think they are using a taser when they’re using a gun.

Are you kidding? The taser is worn on the OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE BODY from the firearm. It’s department policy. It’s uniformly practiced. How could she have meant to use her taser and pulled her firearm instead? She’s no longer competent to carry a lethal weapon and have a license to deploy it against her fellow citizens as a police officer.

You’re completely missing the point. He’s resisting arrest and he goes back into the car. How do the police know that he’s not reaching for a gun. Are they supposed to wait until they see his hands? Go watch those videos I linked to.

You can screen for racism during the meantal health check, social media posts, background check.
