Boom! Loudoun just killed off CCL. All young age groups going to NCSL in a new club league for top teams.
And y’all laughed when I said it a few weeks ago... wait for loudoun to lose ECNL in the next 18 months
What are you talking about? They’re not losing ECNL. They’re gaining regional ECNL for their second teams.

Get a life and realize your precious 8 year old is not the next Soccer star playing on the USWNT or USMNT
I am laughing at your focus on U9 "next gen"
No I was not talking about U9. Alex pulled out of a U9 league and you are up in arms about CCL scheduling. AS I SAID, my kid plays CCL in the girls division and no scheduling issues. Sorry for your U9 Next Gen kid, what a tragedy, a few missed games
Actually, the point is completely the opposite. Nobody cares about leagues or their stature at u9/10. The kids just need to play. Reality check: kids find games fun; 8 and 9 year olds like to play them; the point of soccer at that age is to enjoy the game. And we pay a lot of money. There are a gazillion teams in the DC area; there's no reason kids shouldn't be able to play a decent slate of games. So if NCSL has dozens of teams and 8 games; yes, it is a problem if 8 year olds in CCL get 4; and yes, kids ask questions and wonder why they don't have a game multiple weekends in a row. It has nothing to do with thinking your kid is a superstar. Play scrimmages or XYZ league ... who cares.

My did (girl) plays CCL for her club. This year I have seen little if any scheduling issues beyond the LMVSC issue. No knock on them just reality, it happens. Her team has played a full schedule and is finishing off this Spring the teams they did not play in the fall. All are scheduled and happening.
Where do you all get this nonsense from?
