My daycare does not require masks for 2-5. I'm aware of one case in a child. No spread.

Has anyone seen any studies on masked versus unmasked daycare spread? I can't find anything, and I'm curious about the impact.

I know a daycare in Montgomery County where none of the kids wear masks.

I know of several in home daycares in the county that don’t require them either. No covid cases and haven’t been raided by the county health dept yet.

My kid is in a NOVA preschool that requires masks for 3-5 year olds. All the kids just put them on and go about their day. If they get dirty or wet, they just give them a clean one and move on.

I will say, I don’t know how/if that would work with 2 year olds. That is so young.
