It's open, it's lovely and it was absolutely needed.

Now the town and the creek is not at risk for flooding, and the historic town can be persevered, and safe from idiots going 50+ through 90 degree turns.

I agree. This bypass was not necessary at all. It is absolutely ridiculous and just awful. Whoever came up with this idea must have been 8 years old.

If Brookeville didn't want people speeding through their town, well, they already had speed cameras.

No reason for this waste of money on this bypass and these circles.

They have installed a bridge.

Work is still ongoing because the SHA construction schedule is that it won’t be complete until the end of 2022. So relax a little.

I just feel the traffic levels didn't warrant a bypass. Again, that money could have been better spent elsewhere on MOCO roads like over in Poolesville.
