Doubt they are paying the exec producer that much to host. I actually think it’s nice he is unknown and fades into the background, letting the guests shine. All we’ve heard about since Alex died are the guests hosts. I’d like to hear more about the contestants and a big name host prevents that.

Rodgers did a significantly better job at pacing and contestant interaction than Richards. People may hate him for moronic, sportsball (/s, as it’s clearly necessary to specify that) reasons, but those impressions sure aren’t based on the guest hosting either did.
