Yes I’m sure the 60 year old is hoping to procreate with his 25YO partner. Definitely![]()
These are divorced men who have had their families and now like to date young women. Presumably they’ve all had vasectomies. I see how your real point was to insult women over 35 as being “barren”, but I think you’re on the wrong track.
I have a relative who didn't get married until he was 62. He is now mid-70s with a 13 and 11 year old. I have a male friend who is mid-70s raising his teenaged stepson.
You recognize that both are outliers? If I was 11 with a 75 year old father I’d hate it. My dad just turned 70 and he’s a grandfather to my kids (14-10)
+100. So irresponsible to have a young kid at that age. I'd hate it to have a dad that age at school functions/games etc.
It's pretty common in my high income neighborhood for men in their 50s-60s to be on their second family. See them all the time at elementary school events. Their kids seem to love their fathers.

+1. I did know two girls in college who dated a couple of guys in their early 30’s and I remember our whole friend group was disgusted, sat them down and told them it wasn’t right and they need to stop. These girls had daddy issues and one was mentally unstable in general. These older guys have problems and target young women with issues bc no normal young person would date more than 10 yrs older.
Who are these 20 year olds who are dating these old men? No one I know now or when I was in my 20's is dating these much older men. Just couldn't relate to them culturally.
When I was in college one of my friends was not just dating but living with a man who was 25 years older. I also had a former girlfriend who married a guy who was about 25 years older than her. She was a total slut but somehow a 45 year old farmer tamed her.
Pretty sure MSNBC's Katy Tur was like 26 years old and living with a 50 year old Keith Olbermann (who was the star of the network at the time).

You're projecting. 25 y/o and 60 y/o is so rare it's not even worth discussing. I was more-so referring to late 20s gal with a 30s/40s successful man. Outside of a sap like Prince Harry, most men that age who want [more] children are not going to waste time with a fertility-challenged woman their own age. A famous example would be Chris Pratt (39) divorcing and then marrying Katherine Schwarzenegger (28), then immediately having a child.
He was cheating on Anna Farris who is way prettier and funnier than Katherine S. Anna F. broke it off.
Beauty and humor are subjective. 40-something ex wife is barren. He clearly wanted a larger family, thus immediate pregnancy with new young wife, and I suspect a couple more in the near future.
