The top teams (black) play in CCL and some also play in EDP in addition to CCL. The second teams (Red) are in CCL 2 (Championship). The teams below that (white/silver) are in NCSL.
All U13 and up Herndon teams are in Jeff Cup, with some in very competitive flights.

Anonymous wrote:My DD plays in CCL for good not great team. She would like to play high level college soccer but I don't believe our club has ever produced a player who has played at that level. What does DD need to do to draw attention from college coaches? We have the CCL Showcase this weekend I don't know trust the list since there are DI coaches included but I understand that DI coaches have a Dark Period.

Yes we have girls leave last year and this year
Every CCL girls team loses its best players, it just depends on when. The smart ones go to ECNL at U13 but there's nothing unusual with players leaving for their U14 through U17 years. If you belong on the field, you belong and it's really that simple. I imagine its the same for GAL teams, just not as good as ECNL teams.
LOL. The constant ECNL hyping is getting ridiculous. The 4 best girls clubs in VA have 2 teams in ECNL and 2 teams in GA. There is always movement on these teams because everybody keeps thinking the pastures are greener. If your kid is truly talented, you’ll know and it won’t matter where they play (assuming it’s in a competitive league). If your kid is middling or bench warming, maybe the shifting about helps. In the end, it’s usually just deck chairs shuffling.
