Prep and Landon are loaded every year. What makes the 2023s and 2024s any different? Please elaborate

Bottom line when considering these IAC rankings for this year and moving forward, whether you like it or not, Landon and GP are both completely stacked at the younger classes. Those two will rule the IAC for years to come, this year is up in the air. I know it was a fall tourney, but Gonzaga looked absolutely horrific. Other than their LSM, that team could barley catch the ball and got absolutely rocked by Taft! Meanwhile, Landon played Taft minus a bunch of offensive players and started two freshman all while barely losing in a very very physical game against Taft. Bullis beat Taft in the final...enough said. This might be Bullis’ year but after that it’s all down hill, way way down hill. Gonzaga’s time has past!

Mitchell brothers worthy of respect for their coaching skills, but Pat Young at BI is as good and has done a great job invigorating boys program at BI last two years - his BI teams haven’t lost to the Heights. Young is someone to keep an eye on and a much better coach than coaches in place at #5-10 and likely #4 as well.

Those of us from DJO are excited about our new coach, Jack Rowlett. Similar profile to Pat Young - major college player for an ACC team and a pro player in PLL. Exciting to have both of these young coaches build their programs

This sounds right above.... I wasn't aware SSSA had dropped off this much.

No way STA ranks 4th in the IAC. That is a complete joke. They will be in last place again as usual. Sorry, I know it’s hard for some to hear, but a reality.

I'm not sure why anyone would have Landon in the top 2 in the IAC when their head coach just announced he is stepping down. I'd rank the IAC teams in the following order:

1. Prep (has much more depth than Bullis)
2. Bullis (loaded senior class but starts to drop off after their 2021 class)
3. Landon (individually has some elite players at all positions at the field however lack major midfield depth)
4. SSAS (best coached team in the IAC and somehow finds away to make a run in May)
5. Episcopal (did I hear some Canadian kids have arrived in Alexandria... should be interesting)
6. Albans (Bulldogs are gradually getting better with Heeter pushing kids from Next Level but still needs another year or two of recruiting of being super competitive with top half of the league)


WCAC is a two horse race this year between Gonzaga and St. Johns. There is a huge drop off after those two and an even further drop off in talent in the leaguer after PVI and DeMatha.

I’d flip Landon and Prep and SSSAS and St. Albans.
