Well.... DUH! Why did it take Republicans so long to figure this out. You all are drawing yourself closer to Trump, when the state of Georgia just proved to you that they don't like Trump. The people who split their vote Biden + Rep Senator are going to look at this and say... wait, voting for these people is another Trump vote.

That’s why Ronna McDaniel had to delete a scare tweet about Kamala Harris being the tie-breaking vote for a Democratic Senate if Democrats win the Georgia seats.

I doubt the AA community comes out in the same volume for separate Senate races? I know it’s important to control the Senate for the Dems and Biden, but the average voter will not be as motivated....now that Trump is not on this 1/5 ballot.
Well many people want coronavirus relief passed and hate having their votes thrown out by republicans. Also the two republicans running are bottom of the barrel - corruption and incompetence. So yes they will come out. The trump vote will not come out for non trumps.

That’s pretty much the only hope Republicans ever have of winning ANY race—low turnout. That said, all of the candidates seem frighteningly bad.
Democratic turnout doesn't have to be as high as it was on Nov. 3, just higher than Republican turnout.
Trump had record turnout of rural white voters in North and South Georgia. Without him on the ballot, do those voters really give a shit about Loeffler and Perdue?

It was burbs like Gwinnett that swung heavily to Biden that made the difference. Atlanta turnout and margin was similar to 2016.
