Noticed that as well. I’m guessing Tom has moved out but doesn’t need his work shoes at the old folks home. He has to keep up appearances in order to maintain his defense.

Which is the case on every Housewives show.

I could tell the house was old and in disrepair 3-4 years ago. They fixed those issues and kept the integrity/style.

In those years Erika has changed. No time to change the house, she’s barely there. I don’t feel bad that she abandoned him. He’s used her for over 25 years.

The house does read as old OR what a lower income person thinks classy looks like.

I think he has dementia. He is old and the money issues sound like what can happen. It is sad she has abandoned him.

That's so weird. The dark heavy wood, the antiques, the drapes with cornice boxes, palm tree wallpaper, and roosters in the kitchen. It's all so old-fashioned. It seems like it's the right interior for the role she was playing, but I really can't imagine her loving this. Wherever she lives now looks radically different inside.
