They were wrong in 2016 just like everyone else. They underestimated Trump. Because that hurt so much, now we are all making the opposite mistake. We are overestimating Trump. Reality is a crap shoot anyway. Always was.

I paid off all of my student loans. It was not a trivial amount. Everyone else can do exactly the same. If people get student loans forgiven I want alllllllllll my money back I unnecessarily paid back early to rid myself of debt.

My wife and I paid our debts. We didn’t have debt forgiveness. We had low rates, which I’d support of they don’t exist now.

Maybe the same ones that removed interest deductibility for student loans in the 1980s. Here’s a novel idea: pay your damn debts or work them off via the programs that provider for loan forgiveness. Here’s another idea: stop providing loans for tuition at high cost schools or for low utility degrees outside the hard sciences.
