Way too expensive. (10K for a small house in Chatham)
Beautiful.
Water too cold to swim in.
Snooty. My snootiest Aunt goes every year. Preppy heaven.
Too far from DC for me to visit regularly.
What do you think about Cape Cod?
What in the world...granted it was 2012 but we paid $2400 for a week in a 4 BR place (2 families) in Eastham about 1/3 walk from the Bay. $10K????
Chatham is very tony - the snots in DC would not go anywhere else, except for the Vineyard.

I grew up in Hingham and have never see this before. It also is not near the cape and I have heard nothing of this and I am here on the Cape now.

Shark warning posted yesterday in Boston Globe; similar article in NYT.
What say you, Crazy Cape Cod Cheerleader? I’m beginning to wonder if she’s actually a hired hand for the local shark community. Think: Belushi’s land shark on SNL.

It also covers up to Canada, and down the Atlantic Seaboard. The Gulf of Maine has become a hotspot of activity, too.
