know girls on many teams. nothing that ive heard
Girls offers will now be made on May 1.
Where was that announced? Why does the club director - Lisa Frates - never communicate anything except her speaking appearances ?
A message late this afternoon to the managers of girls teams. The managers then send the message to their team. Not the most efficient way of doings things, but that’s how they roll.
They know you will never leave ...so
We left! So happy to be freeeeeee of Bethesda girls side nonsense

Never liked him...thinks that joysticking the kids during practices and games is teaching them. One of those "I have an 'A' license, so I'm a god" kinda guys. Really good at making kids feel bad about themselves. And loves getting his ass kissed by parents, and rewards the kids in part. Good luck!
Excellent, accurate description. +1
I have heard these complaints about Eric from friends with kids on his team. I don’t really know him, but I thought he was a very effective coach on the few occasions he substituted for our regular coach. He’s definitely a yeller, but I wouldn’t have called him a joy-stick type in our games. My kid found his positioning reminders helpful.
We like Matt Ney, who will also be coaching a girls’ team this year.

I can't +1 this enough.
The very stereotype of everything that is bad about a US youth soccer coach.

I’m just speculating of course.
Some BSC players travel from Howard County or other counties further north than Bethesda. I could see them moving to Pipeline ECNL now that that's an option.
Is Pipeline a definite in the ECNL now?
Not only is Pipeline in the ECNL but it will once again own Bethesda. Sadly, the girls side of Bethesda continues to fall. KL will help but it is not a minor lift. McLean, FCV, and MUFC are all stronger than Bethesda. The best team, the 05s, will do well in ECNL but will not qualify for the Champions league.
Pipeline dad is likely going blind and burned through several bottles of hand lotion and multiple boxes of tissues writing the previous post.
You most be a high school kid who is intimidated by and jealous of Pipeline because you are on an inferior club team. It was a no brainer that Pipeline went ECNL. on the girls side, the club has delivered elite teams across age categories.
I hear that one of Pipeline's top players recently signed to play at USC. Outside of McLean and Bethesda, I don't know of too many players signing for a powerhouse like USC.
Again, I have zero affiliation with Pipeline but recognize it as an elite club.
