Someone mentioned the declining number of female coaches. It's sad. Shannon Cirovski worked so hard to set up a stong set of women coaches. Now it's back to the old boy's network.

I have heard these complaints about Eric from friends with kids on his team. I don’t really know him, but I thought he was a very effective coach on the few occasions he substituted for our regular coach. He’s definitely a yeller, but I wouldn’t have called him a joy-stick type in our games. My kid found his positioning reminders helpful.

We like Matt Ney, who will also be coaching a girls’ team this year.

Agree with the negative comments on Eric, and the positives on Matt Ney. He’s fantastic.

What is really funny and telling is that there is even discussion about GAL in a Bethesda centric thread.

Why? Why would a ECNL Club centric thread really care about GAL.

The last I checked. ECNL won. Your division added Pipeline and Penn Fusion. You should be happy and frankly unconcerned. Nothing has changed for your kid.

Cared far more about recruiting from outside the program than he did supporting his own players. If you didn’t kiss up to him, your son was in big trouble.
As a PP said, never lets the kids think for themselves on the field...all he cares about is his national rankings, and if that means stunting their growth, then so be it.

Terrific, but Pipeline is not an option for 90% of the people on this forum. It is nice for those kids but nobody gives a shit. Not because we are jealous, but really, deeply and honestly, nobody gives a shit. Show me the same list of kids from Southern California and I will shrug my shoulder and say ok, nice, and move on.

Is Pipeline a definite in the ECNL now?

Not only is Pipeline in the ECNL but it will once again own Bethesda. Sadly, the girls side of Bethesda continues to fall. KL will help but it is not a minor lift. McLean, FCV, and MUFC are all stronger than Bethesda. The best team, the 05s, will do well in ECNL but will not qualify for the Champions league.

Pipeline dad is likely going blind and burned through several bottles of hand lotion and multiple boxes of tissues writing the previous post.

You most be a high school kid who is intimidated by and jealous of Pipeline because you are on an inferior club team. It was a no brainer that Pipeline went ECNL. on the girls side, the club has delivered elite teams across age categories.

I hear that one of Pipeline's top players recently signed to play at USC. Outside of McLean and Bethesda, I don't know of too many players signing for a powerhouse like USC.

Again, I have zero affiliation with Pipeline but recognize it as an elite club.

Not in the least. I find his constant need for attention in forum that doesn’t serve his area geographically hilarious. This is how much pipeline doesn’t affect me, I can’t pick up a Baltimore Radio station. He is irritating in his need for attention and just doesn’t understand the reason nobody cares as much about his club is because most people on this forum live at least 30 miles away and most live up to 90 miles away from the club.

We don’t compete for the same players, we don’t pass each other on the beltway. He might as well be from Boston as Baltimore.
