I do not know about that. On the girls side mclean has had many people leave who will not go back. If anything I could see ECNL adding more teams in a state till they had enough to have league play(where possible). It would make restarting a lot easier. The teams could just follow the state guidelines and not have to worry about another state’s coronavirus policy.
Smart. Good idea. One could theoretically have multi state play in the state with the least restrictive guidelines. So if Maryland continues lockdown longer, I wonder if teams could not simply agree to play in VA?

Pay to play will be even more glaring. Hopefully, it ends up making the cost and travel more reasonable so kids that were shut out before get a chance to play.
There already are lower cost leagues with less travel. Will they survive and pick up players? The super deluxe options will still continue for the affluent players but there will clearly be less fish still swimming in that pond..
