At least partial reimbursement should be part of the conversation.
Yes. We are down a lot of income. And our soccer fees are approx $3500-4000. Some reimbursement should be given. Zero spring season happened.
$3500!? My DS is in his first travel season, we’re in the bottom team of our club (U11). Is that what costs look like later? Or is that for the “higher level” teams?
Yes, and for ECNL or DA it is significantly more.
Not true. The big difference is travel costs between ECNL/DA teams and other teams. Typically, Club fees are about the same or mostly proportional to the increased number of practices for ECNL/DA level teams. There are some exceptions, but many of the lower level teams have to bring in revenue for the clubs.

$518 for nothing

Fields won’t be open in VA prior to June 10th with the stay at home order issued today.
I’m not sure why people can’t understand this or refuse not to accept it.
I got an alert from the City of Alexandria that all recreation sports, including clubs, were cancelled for the spring season. Where is my money?
Still got a job? That's where you money is coming from!
Actually I don't, which is why I need my money. Does every poster on DCUM assume that the entire world is super rich, can sit on their sofa and watch movies all day for the next 10 weeks and count all my nonexistent money. People are losing jobs. Jesus.

It’s time to play it safe and stop training with anyone for a month or two. Hopefully in a few months they will have medical treatments followed by a vaccine. Stay well everyone.

Coaches get paid very little, they should absolutely pay them. This isn't their fault.
