No, Warren serves a useful purpose to present a viable progressive alternative to Sanders. Additionally she is a candidate that also stands some chance in a brokered convention. Sanders' only hope in changing his plurality to a majority and winning the first ballot is to have Warren drop out. Fortunately, her fundraising has been very strong and she has the money to stay in the race and continue to keep Dr. Emmett Brown from winning a majority.

For those that think that Sanders is really popular, he's not. He's currently winning the delegate count essentially the same way Trump beat Clinton, by winning the delegate count.

Biden has been saying that he's won more votes than Sanders to date and he's correct. Here are the current standings after 4 contests:

Just like the electoral college, the delegate counts favor smaller states and give more weight to smaller populations. Sanders is currently leading by winning smaller states. Sanders is not really that popular. And I expect that Biden will continue to outpace him in actual votes. However, Sanders is currently stronger in delegate totals and it seems like he will stay that way after Super Tuesday. As the Biden camps puts it, their goal is to be close enough to Sanders to be competitive and to distance themselves from any other candidates and try to make it into a 2 horse race to really narrow the field down to moderate vs progressive and try to win the post-Super Tuesday races in the narrower field.

That's a fantasy. Obama was widely praised by DNC'ers which means nothing to me. He accused Bush of being unpatriotic for deficit spending. Then he doubled down.

You didn't care about deficit spending when Obama was in office. JFK lowered taxes when he entered office.

Obama was widely praised for cutting the deficit gradually as the economy improved. Trump has blown it wide open. and when Kennedy came in the office he lowered taxes, but from historic highs.
