So I binge watched all three seasons while my H and kid were away last week. My mom had seen all the episodes and I was talking about it with her the other day and she said: It's like the old soap operas. I realized she was exactly right...Virgin River is like old school soap operas. I watched Santa Barbara in high school, All My Children in college. Virgin River has the quick turnaround story lines, the okay/sketchy acting, the cheesy local events (Lumberjack games?!?). I feel like Susan Lucci would have fit in perfectly in this show (as Muriel maybe?). In terms of mindless entertainment it was exactly what I needed during a week alone.

I think he'll be some sort of control freak and she'll eventually come running back. Seems like hes cutting her off from her old life.

I keep thinking Mr. Richie Rich from the bustling metropolis of Eureka has some horrible angle planned with the babies. I realize he is merely a plot device, but the timeframe of Charmaine's pregnancy and their relationship make zero sense. Although, I guess they're both awful people, so that could be all there is to it. Virgin River don't run too deep...

I loved all of it. I can’t wait till season 4. It was just what the doctor ordered this weekend.

Just finished Season 3. So wonderfully terrible again! Every time my teens walk in I say: get out! Watching my terrible show still.

I like Hope tho I agree she can be annoying. I just like ornery female characters.

Is that whole first episode really about people questioning a grown ass adult about taking time off on her birthday?!
