It would bother me too. I think it's because it tells me that those kids are in charge and the parents are push overs. OTOH, I know it's irrational because it does not affect me at all.

I don’t get it and it drives me crazy. Why would you not buy regular clothes ( not PJ’s) for your kid to wear to school?!
So young children wearing pjs to school = parents not buying regular clothes? Wow, what a leap. You know, getting some preschoolers to school is a battle.and if letting them wear pjs means one less battle, I’m cool with it.

Your kids don’t wear underwear to bed?
Not with pjs. I think that’s pretty common. Clean underwear goes on in the morning when they get dressed.
This is so gross. Underwear goes under everything!!!!
Raising hand as another no underwear under pajamas team member. Never heard of wearing underwear under pajamas until I was older. And would never consider it. Seems so uncomfortable and unhygienic for the genital region.
See I think not wearing underwear under pajamas is unhygienic. Letting all that stink and juice seep onto the bottom pjs pants or shorts. Gross!
In our house, we wash our clothes. Guess you don't do that.
Kids wear pajamas for at least 3 wears. Wouldn’t be able to do that without underwear. So you wash pajamas daily? If not, it’s like wearing the same underwear over and over. Talk about unhygienic!

Now I’ve heard it all. You think wearing underwear is unhygienic. I don’t even know what to say to that.
Do you also think soap is dirty and water is dry?

Not really. You sound lazy. If kids shower at night, they are clean and should put on clean underwear. Before you go to school, yes, clean underwear. You only have 10 pair of underwear? Wierd.
Wait, you’re saying clean underwear after showering at night and then take that off and put on new clean underwear in the morning? 2 pairs of underwear per day? Really?
Nobody in our house wears underwear to bed. It would be like wearing my bra. We just wear our pjs
Ok, thanks for sharing.
Why the snark? Others have shared too.

it is difficult to find and pjs work in the meantime.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:My child is in a preschool in the 3 year old class and one of the boys in his class wears striped pajama pants or a full set of pajamas to school EVERY SINGLE DAY. Some kids are extremely sensitive to clothes and soft pjs maybe the only thing they can handle at the moment.
There are plenty of soft clothing.
