I have never sent my kids to school in pajamas but it wouldn't bother me in the least if someone else did. And I'm a pretty anal retentive, Type A person, but this literally affects me not at all so I don't know why I'd care.

A kid in my child’s class wore a skeleton costume every day. They’re 3. Simmer down, OP.

lighten up. this is an anonymous forum and pretty much every post is like this. I agree with OP. it seems super lazy on the parents part to not be able to dress their kid. Plus those PJs get filthy at school and no kid should be sleeping in those at home after school either.

In our house, we wash our clothes. Guess you don't do that.

Kids wear pajamas for at least 3 wears. Wouldn’t be able to do that without underwear. So you wash pajamas daily? If not, it’s like wearing the same underwear over and over. Talk about unhygienic!

See, I think that’s gross. I would never out clean freshly showered children into dirty last-night pajamas. Clean pair every night, clean underwear is put on in the morning.

I wonder what the mom obsessed with butt juice (???) will do when her teenager or tween sleeps without clothes on...change the sheets every day?

Don’t know about boys, but our ped recommends no underwear at night for girls. The vagina needs to breathe. Being cooped up in underwear 24/7 is more likely to lead to an infection.

My DS only wore pajama bottoms and a pink fleece top for about 6 months when he was 3. It was the only thing he wanted to wear so I bought a bunch of them. Every night he’d have a bath, a new set would go on (with Thomas the Tank Engine underwear), and he’d wear it to school the next day.

He is now 15. He is smart, handsome, popular, athletic, and wears a variety of fashionable clothing. Probably because he got to wear the same awesome outfit every day when he was 3.

It definitely bothered Colin’s mom because she kept bringing it up. She was super annoying and kind of a loser. Don’t be like Colin’s mom.

+1 And if you fart, it goes directly onto the pajama bottom instead of being contained in underwear. Gross! Also, sometimes pee leaks when people laugh. I’d want all of that contained in actual underwear which you then remove in the morning.

Some kids are extremely sensitive to clothes and soft pjs maybe the only thing they can handle at the moment.

There are plenty of soft clothing.

it is difficult to find and pjs work in the meantime.
