I think Nancy consistently looks fantastic. Looking fantastic doesn't mean you're shallow. Spending too much time on your looks to the point that it overshadows other things can mean that you're shallow. Not the case here.

MaxMara, wasn’t it? I loved that thing.
Yes. Gorgeous. Supposedly they were going to bring it back...
Also it looks really red in this photo but is described as being "burnt orange" and I think the Max Mara name for it is Fire.
Notice that her hair is dyed and she is in heels, and -- look -- she has on makeup and somehow none of that makes people think she is stupid or vapid or unable to lead. Imagine that!
Please go back to defending Ivanka and Melania on the other thread. Dyed hair, heels, and makeup have nothing to do with it. But in the case of the Trump ladies, it sure doesn't help. Kthxbye.
i don’t GAF about those Trump chicks this a big middle finger to the many many many threads here from women who won’t/don’t dye or use makeup and insist that those women who do groom and are fashionably dresses cannot possibly be taken seriously in the workplace.

Nancy gets her hair done every day in the morning. Makes my day to see 2 or more huge Secret Service guys with buds in their ears and their black SUVs waiting for Nancy. That is power! Go Nancy! I love her and her power. For anyone who is 79 -- she looks fabulous. People would be blind to say otherwise.
Whoever mentioned Teresa May ... you need to see an eye doctor immediately! She has a long pointy nose, ugly gray hair and big ears. Yikes!
Nancy looks like a fashion plate.

Once you get hair/makeup/clothes right it becomes second nature to you. The hard part is finding what works for your own personal style. Nancy found that combination for herself some time ago.
True, but I also believe great-looking women like NP also re-evaluate/ get updated advice from time to time, changes and adjustments are needed as time goes by and we and our environment changes...
I think we all see some women who were hot and "in" 20-30 years ago still trying to rock that style and it looks dated at best...

No doubt she is loaded, but many rich women dress poorly. Nancy Pelosi is always dressed perfectly.

You think JLo should go gray? Ha!
JLo is 50 with the face and body of a 30 yr old. She can pull it off. But at some point as you age, drastically coloring your hair starts to look unflattering. JLo will get there eventually, but for now she looks great. Nancy is past that point. Her hair texture and face look her age.
I will respectfully disagree. If they want to never go gray that is 100% their call. I'm in my 50's and I don't see me going gray anytime soon.
I think Nancy's hair looks great (she doesn’t usually have those stripes), but the line between “believable” and “GTFOH” with hair coloring in one’s 50s and beyond is delicate. I’m assuming you do too, but Nancy pays handsomely for believable hair color and most late colorers do not.
