You’re not supposed to eat these, you use them as an ingredient in other things. Amateur.

You should try Birthday cake Oreos!

I just want to buy the cookie, minus the stuff. Why can’t they sell this??

I was going to say Lofthouse until I read this. I completely forgot about Snackwells, but yeah, they all tasted weird and chemically. They get my vote for worst cookie.

But Snackwells are supposed to be lower-calorie or something? I get why they taste weird.

The ones I was thinking of were Fat Free, but not particularly low calorie (it was the early 90s). This was probably why they tasted funky, but still, worst cookie.

I had never had one of those lofthouse cookies until some kids’ class party....I was totally repulsed by them but they are also weirdly delicious and addictive.

This is exactly how I feel. They are a guilty pleasure.

I like most cookies. Nilla wafers, fig newtons, and ginger snaps are my nostalgic go-tos... these are what my mom bought because they probably seemed healthier than the alternatives? Ironically now my dad has his own junk food cabinet at their house which is often stocked with lofthouse and pepperidge farms.

This is funny -- I find the lofthouse brand cookies to be disgusting, but the Trader Joes version are amazing.

I don't like Girl Scout cookies but Aldi has a knock-off of the kind with peanut butter and Aldi's version is surprisingly good.

Same with cookies -- once you make them homemade...it is horrible to eat them out of a bag from the supermarket.

Bottom line...make your own soup and cookies -- cheaper and healthier!

Oh - time for a soup thread! Please start one!
