over in the relationship forum it's just sheer hypocrisy:

exhibit A:

divorced 40 year old woman who wants to have flings with younger guys - you go girl!!

divorced 40 year old man who wants to have flings with younger women - you're a creep. craddle robber. no wonder your wife left you. etc, etc, etc.

tl, dr: the man is always wrong, no matter what.

Unless the poster is knowledgeable in which case it is Mann or Ross, or just move to Maryland like everyone else does.

It’s ok to serve your guests store bought food for a dinner party. It’s absolutely ok to get prepared food from Weis or Giants and serve it to your guests.

Chik-Fil-A is homophobic, sells bad junk food, and will be boycotted out of business.

Chik-Fil-A has the best chicken sandwiches and milkshakes in the universe. It is a very successful business.

Also: it's way more about what you eat (and don't eat) than how much you work out. You can't outrun your fork. Lose weight in the kitchen; tone up in the gym.

an IQ test is the only way to measure intelligence. it is the only way to verify if a child is gifted.

It's entirely possible to give a favor that isn't a bag of crap.

A themed water bottle. A beautiful stick of rock candy wrapped in cellophane and ribbon. A small coloring book along the same theme as the party.

Don’t say that on the Special Needs board. Just don’t. You have no idea what you are talking about.

PP didn't say that on the Special Needs board. Do you get it?

If something is said in the majority of other fora, the intended audience/people we are talking about are neurotypical and developmentally typical. So yes, there doesn't need to be caveat-caveat-caveat, exception-exception-exception.

There is one Special Needs forum. Hopefully, people respect that and either don't post there, or are exercising good judgment and providing context when they do post there. But outside of that board, we don't need to act like we are posting in that board.

I fear for your safety should you wander into an AAP or TJ thread. Stay strong, PP.
