The child started to get up, and the staff clearly and forcefully pushed her back on the couch. No doubt about it. It was quick and forceful. Did not give the child any time to react or even resist.

Our family knew her and her kids. I wasn’t surprised to see her as a room parent at stokes or on the fundraising team. I can’t believe after all the involvement she did at our Childern’s previous school and all her involvement at stokes I’m floored they treated her this way. She has multiple properties and I believe they just had the house on the hill remodeled. I was their when the school called the meeting after this happened. It was sad because the school didn’t invite her like they did the rest of the school and when she did arrive they tired to silence her in the meeting. The old head of the board even grabbed her arm in front of the whole room! It was not a good look and parents there spoke out about them bullying her. It wasn’t just her daughter that was harmed, but what happened to her son was even more terrible. She found out late about the meeting, because someone had called her. The way they treated her in that meeting was wrong and not inviting her was sneaky. She was emotional and seeking answers and reached out to all the parents for support. She has a great reputation in the city and is an awesome mom, friend, and professional. My heart goes out to her family. No one deserves this and definitely no child. Stokes should be ashamed of themselves. I can’t imagine how hard this is for them.

Why is anyone dredging up a nearly two month old post to defend the mom, not to share an update or ask a question about the lawsuit?
Is this you, Nykia?

First her son was taking out two weeks after the bar after sustaining unexplained injuries at the school then her daughter after all failed attempts to mediate back when the barring occurred and she tired to mediated the situation but the school refused to meet. The school didn’t try to resolve this matter. This Mother was very involved with the schools progression and funding efforts. She is a highly educated professional and was a very active parent in the school and she is very active in the development of her community. She is from Capitol Hill and has multiple address for mailing and business purposes.
